A three-day national junior squash tournament will hold in Ilorin from Aug. 15 to Aug. 17, the organisers confirmed on Friday.
The Executive Chairman, Kwara Sports Commission, Malam Bola Mogaji, confirmed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin.
He said the tournament would be organised for players in the Under-11, 13 and 15 categories across the country.
He said that the Ex Squash Players Association of Nigeria (EX PRO), in conjunction with the State Sports Commission, would organise the event.
Mogaji also said that no fewer than 200 players expected at the event tagged ‘5th Ex Pro tournament’, would arrive Ilorin from Aug. 15.
According to him, arrangements have been made to ensure a hitch free tournament.
He said that the newly built eight squash courts in the state’s Stadium Complex, Ilorin, would be unveiled during the tournament.
