Nigeria Olympic team assistant coach, Fatai Amoo has said he’s ready to join any serious-minded club in the country ahead of the 2017 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
The ex-international who coached Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan between 2009 and 2011 has been linked up with a return to the Oluyole Warriors said it was a mere rumour
Speaking with Tribunesport from Abuja, where he’s undergoing a CAF A Licence coaching course, Amoo, a member of the Samson Siasia-led crew which guided the Dream Team to the bronze at the recently-held Rio 2016 Olympics, said he is prepared to handle any side that shows enough seriousness to engage his services.
“I’m ready to join any serious-minded team in the country. I am ready to impart knowledge to my players, that is why I’m in Abuja for CAF A Licence class which is the university of soccer, the first time it is holding in Nigeria where we have the likes of Kadiri Ikhana, Okey Emordi, Samson Siasia, Ladan Bosso, Salisu Yusuf, Gbenga Ogunbote.
“Depending on the discussion, I am ready to accept offer from any management that is equally ready to engage my services,” ‘Arsenal’, as he is fondly called, said.
On plans by a report that he is set to rejoin 3SC, Amoo said: “I’ve been receiving calls on this rumour but I will like to tell you that this is not true and if I must join any team, we will need to agree on some terms”.
