Monaco’s Radamel Falcao is honoured that AC Milan have been linked with him and admits his liking for Italian football.
The 32-year-old Colombia international is currently at the World Cup and has every chance of reaching the last-16 with La Tricolor.
He enjoyed another productive campaign with the principality outfit, bagging 24 goals from 36 appearances in all competitions.
That takes his total to 67 from 101 outings and is in stark contrast to his two forays into the Premier League, when he flopped at both Manchester United and Chelsea.
There have been rumours that Milan are eyeing a swap deal for the South American involving Andre Silva and it seems as though Falcao would entertain a switch to Serie A.
“I’ve read and heard about Milan’s interest, and it’s an honour that a club like them are following me,” he said. “I follow Italian football, Serie A’s the most difficult League and I know the Rossoneri are the club who have won the second-most Champions Leagues.
“For now, I’m still under contract with Monaco and I’m only thinking about Monaco and the national team, but it’s clear that I like both Italy and Italian football.”
