Former Juventus star Paul Pogba has admitted to having a few ‘small issues’ with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho last season.
The 25-year-old only occasionally had the impact on the Premier League that he was expected to have and he was dropped from the side on a number of occasions by Mourinho.
That led to links with a number of other high-profile clubs, as well as neighbours Manchester City but Pogba, currently in Russia with France, says there is not problem.
As he prepares for France’s final World Cup group game against Denmark, Pogba said: “It was a better season than the previous one.
“It was an experience. There were some small issues with [Mourinho], but they were nothing in the end.
“Being a substitute, that sort of thing, it helps you to grow. I have to accept it.”
