I’m not leaving Tottenham anymore -Kane

Harry Kane has dropped a hint about his future by revealing he is looking forward to working with Antonio Conte next season.

The Italian manager signed a one-and-a-half year deal when he joined Tottenham in November but there are rumours he will leave if Spurs fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Kane was asked about his gaffer’s future but he could not disclose whether Conte plans to stay.

But the England captain is hopeful the serial winner will stick around, stating he has a great relationship with his boss.

Kane told the Evening Standard: “I have no idea [about Conte’s future] to be honest, that is his decision.

“But he has worked really hard while he has been here, he’s a great guy, a really passionate man, so whatever his decision is you have to respect it.

“But for sure I am enjoying it and I know the boys are enjoying working with him.

“I have said I am a big fan of his and we get on really well so of course it would be great for the club if he stays.

“But like I have said that is his decision, he’s his own man, and I’m sure he will talk to the club and decide on his future.

“We will see what happens over the summer and look forward to the next season with a great manager.”

Kane was linked with a transfer to Manchester City last summer after informing Spurs of his desire to leave.

But a deal never materialised and now City have signed Erling Haaland it seems Kane has accepted he will remain in North London.

Manchester United were also said to be keen on luring Kane to Old Trafford – but their inability to offer Champions League football dents their appeal.
