I’m proud to be at Chelsea ―Willian

Chelsea winger Willian has spoken out about the persistent rumors which linked him with a switch to FC Barcelona last summer. “I am very happy,” he said.

According to The Daily Express, “Always I was happy at Chelsea. I don’t want to talk about the past. I am happy with the new manager and profile of football. I think we have a great team atmosphere and we can do everything to win titles.”

He continued: “I am very proud to stay and be a Chelsea player. It is an honor to play at this club. I am very happy at Chelsea. Everyone knows what happened in the last window.”

According to rumors in England, Barça made three separate bids for him, although that rumor is disputed.
