It’s difficult to leave Bayern ―Muller

Thomas Muller insists he isn’t looking to leave Bayern Munich but admits he could be tempted by a fresh challenge.

The Germany international has spent his entire career with the Bundesliga giants but he says he could be open to a move if the right opportunity arises.

He told Welt Am Sonntag: ‘Another task would certainly be interesting and attractive. If the situation is different, a lot can happen.

‘Basically, it is very difficult to get away from Bayern. Currently I have no thoughts to do something else.’

Muller was linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena during Carlo Ancelotti’s time in charge as he slipped down the pecking order.

The 28-year-old managed to re-establish himself as a regular starter under Jupp Heynckes last season and will hope to retain his starting spot under incoming manager Niko Kovac next term.
