Former Kano Pillars forward, Bello Musa Kofarmata, is close to completing a move to Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan ahead of the 2016/17 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
Kofarmata arrived at the Oluyole Warriors camp in Ijebu Ode on Sunday afternoon and trained with the team on Monday morning at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium.
The highly talented former Heartland FC player impressed last season in the colours of FC IfeanyiUbah, scoring important goals for the Anambra Warriors to help clinch the Federation Cup.
Sportstalkafrica.com gathered that the former junior international turned down a mouthwatering deal from Elkanemi Warriors to opt for Shooting Stars.
When contacted, he said that 3SC is one of the clubs that showed interest in his service and if he agrees personal terms with them he will don the team jersey in the new season.
Kofarmata claimed that El-kanemi Warriors approached him but he snubbed the deal because he wants to have experience of playing in the South West, having played in the North and South East before now.
