Lacazette returns to training after knee surgery

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette returned to training on Monday, with manager Arsene Wenger saying he expected the France striker to be available after the international break.

Lacazette, who underwent minor knee surgery last month, took part in a full training session, with teammate Hector Bellerin posting a picture of them at the training ground.

The France international’s return will boost Arsenal’s hopes of winning the Europa League, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang cup-tied in that competition.

The Gunners face CSKA Moscow in the quarterfinals, with the first leg at the Emirates on April 5.

Lacazette missed both legs of the round-of-16 win over AC Milan.
