Vicente Iborra could be set for a move to England.
‘Sky Sports’ reports that Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare was impressed by the 29-year-old midfielder after coming up against him in the Champions League last season and is now looking to make a move for the former Levante man.
Reports suggest that Sevilla would be willing to sell Iborra should Leicester enter a bid in the region of £12.5m, with the player eager to test himself in England.
Sunderland reportedly came close to signing the player last season.
It is believed that the Spaniard’s large frame and physicality make him ideally suited to the Premier League.
The player would bring a wealth of experience to Leicester having made over 200 appearances in La Liga and having won three Europa League titles with Sevilla.
Iborra is also known for his leadership, with him captaining Sevilla on no fewer than 22 occasions last season.
