LIVE UPDATE | World Cup qualifying match: Nigeria 3 – 1 Algeria

Victor Moses has put Nigeria in the leadwith his first goal in the 25th minutes of play against Algeria in the World Cup qualifying match taking place in Uyo, Awa Ibom State.

Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr had said that neither he nor the Super Eagles are afraid of the Desert Warriors ahead of today’s World Cup qualifier in Uyo.

His words that “the overwhelming home support could do the magic in favour of the Nigerian team,” seem to be turning to a reality.

To up the game, Mike Obi made it two goals for Nigeria against Algeria in the 49th off a pass from Victor Moses, making the score line 2-0.

Algeria’s Nabil Bentaleb scored at the 67th minute making the score line 2-1.
Victor Moses scored his second goal to make the score line 3-1 in favour of Nigeria.
