Lobi Stars sqaud
Kano Pillars defensive midfielder Ikenna Hillary Paul has described the decision to award Lobi Stars the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title as a very unethical one.
The former Sunshine Stars player feels such a decision should never have been taken as it further brought to the table the issue of boardroom points.
Hilary told Footballlive.ng that a mini league of teams within the top 4 or 6 should have been played to produce champions on the field rather than a boardroom agreement.

“The decision to award Lobi Stars the title wasn’t well thought of. It brings to fore the days of boardroom points which doesn’t speak well of football in this country” .
“A Super 4 or 6 should have been the rationale for measuring the true champions of the league season. The decision is unethical,” the Nigeria international added.
