Macha replaced by Kola in Zambia squad for Nigeria

The Hapoel Ra’anana’s winger had been chosen to replace Lewis Macha, who is yet to recover from injury ahead the battle of Ndola

Rodgers Kola has been called up to replace the injured Macha in Zamibia’s World Cup qualifier squad, the nation confirmed on Tuesday.

The Kaizer Chiefs forward suffered an injury last month but will not be fit on time for the cracker against Nigeria on Sunday at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Meanwhile, Misheck Chaila has rejoined the Chipolopolo team in Ndola, two days after he was released from camp along with ten other players.

He will be on standby owing to an injury Clatous Chama picked up while playing for Zesco United against Konkola Blades.

Captain Rainford Kalaba joined camp on Monday evening while Chisamba Lungu and Stopilla Sunzu are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
