Mark Sampson set to resign from England Women’s post

Reports claim that the England Women’s head coach is set to step down following recent controversy surrounding his behaviour.

Mark Sampson, England Women head coach under FA scrutiny, is reportedly set to step down from his position.

Appointed in December 2013, 34-year-old Sampson has been under two FA investigations following bullying and discrimination allegations made by England international Eniola Aluko.

Though Sampson has formally denied the charges, ‘Sky Sports’ report that the England Women’s head coach oversaw his last match in Tuesday night’s 6-0 win over Russia in a World Cup Qualifier.
