Ministerial list: Dalung’s exclusion excites Nigerians

Many sports stakeholders in Nigeria are on cloud nine following the omission of the immediate past Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung, from the ministerial list sent for screening and confirmation by President Muhammadu Buhari to the senate and read at Tuesday’s plenary session by the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan.

Many stakeholders through the social media expressed joy that the portfolio of sports will be handed over to a new person in the days ahead.

The Plateau State-born Dalung, who served the Buhari administration’s first term of office, to many sports stakeholders did not impress, prompting their joy that he will not return as Minister of Youth and Sports.

Quite a number of users have left no holds barred with hilarious memes and tweets laced with sarcasm.
