Alvaro Morata
Jordi Alba says he would welcome Alvaro Morata to Barcelona with open arms amid rumours of a switch to the Nou Camp for the striker.
Reports this week in the Spanish press have claimed the 26-year-old is looking to leave current club Chelsea in January and has offered his services to the Blaugrana, who are understood to be on the hunt for a replacement for Luis Suarez.
Any deal for the Spain international may not sit well with the Barca faithful though, with Morata beginning his career with rivals Real Madrid, spending seven years in total at the Bernabeu over two spells before moving to the Premier League in 2017.

Having struggled for goals at Stamford Bridge over the last 12 months, Chelsea could be open to letting him leave and Alba says he would be a welcome addition to the Barcelona frontline despite his links to Real.
“Morata is a player that I appreciate a lot, he has been a top player for many years. At the end, it’s the club’s [decision] if they want to sign him or not, as with any other player,” Alba told reporters.
“If the rumours are true, he would be very welcome, as all the new players [are].”
