Wilfred Ndidi
Leicester City will be without Wilfred Ndidi for a few weeks as the Foxes face Bournemouth tomorrow at the Vitality Stadium in a Premier League fixture.
The Nigeria international has sustained a fresh injury that will rule him out of action for a while.
Manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed Ndidi’s injury on Thursday as he also listed the players who have been sidelined by injuries for now in his team.
Ndidi was substituted for Boubakary Soumare at half-time during Leicester City’s 4-0 drubbing of Nottingham Forest at the King Power Stadium on Monday night following a hamstring injury.
“Wilfred Ndidi will probably be out for a little bit,” Rodgers told a press conference on Thursday.

“He came back from international duty with a hamstring strain. He recovered well, but he felt it at half-time in the game and he was a little sore, so he might miss a few weeks.”
Ndidi has struggled with injuries in recent times. He missed the latter part of last season with a knee problem.
According to leicestermercury.co.uk, apart from the defensive midfielder, the Foxes will also miss the services of Ricardo Pereira for now.
“Sadly Ricardo Pereira will be out for up to six months with a ruptured Achilles. A lot of our game idea was about our full-backs and him in particular. He was looking so good.
“It’s a massive blow to him. He had his operation last night and he’ll recover now, get strong again and come back better I’m sure,” Rodgers whose side side have won only a game so far in the Premier League said.
