First Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, has expressed his desire to ensure that NFF-organised football matches are in line with international standards.
Akinwunmi, who is seeking a re-election in today’s NFF election in Katsina told Tribunesport on Wednesday that he will use his office to see that all national teams are adequately motivated.
The Lagos State Football Association chairman who is also the chairman of the youth development committee of NFF noted that the future of Nigerian football depends on youth football development.

He promised to focus more on youth programmes for male and female footballers that would enable them to realise their potential.
“As witnessed during the maiden NFF/AITEO Awards, we hope to ensure we organise a world-class event during the second edition and I will champion the course of full digitalisation of the competition department of the Federation,” Akinwunmi said.
