According to French outlet Le Parisien, N’Golo Kante is likely to stay at Chelsea despite advances from Arsenal.
The Chelsea midfielder, who recently returned from a long-term injury, has been linked with a move away from the club as his contract expires at the end of the season. However, Kante’s representatives have revealed that the player wants to continue his career in London.
While Kante was reportedly interested in reuniting with former manager Antonio Conte, who was recently sacked by Tottenham Hotspur, his representatives suggest that the French international may shun Arsenal and extend his contract with Chelsea.

“N’Golo wants to continue his career in London, where he has his habits. He liked working with Antonio Conte, but he was fired by Tottenham, Arsenal also enquired. I think he’ll extend his contract at Chelsea before perhaps leaving for the Gulf in two or three years,” said a member of Kante’s entourage.
Kante has quickly re-established himself as a starter at Chelsea after his injury, and his desire to remain in London is well known. Despite this, he is yet to strike a deal with the Blues, but Foot Mercato reported in February that Kanté was set to sign a contract extension until 2027.
The midfielder’s entourage has also revealed that Arsenal enquired about his services, but it seems that Kanté will extend his contract at Chelsea before potentially moving to the Gulf region in the future.
Despite interest from other clubs, Kante’s representatives suggest that the player is content with remaining in London and continuing his career at Chelsea.
