Ticket for the Nigeria-Argentina match have already been sold out, two months to the Russia 2018 World Cup encounter.
The Super Eagles will face the Albiceleste in their last Group D match at the Krestovsky Stadium, officially known as Saint-Petersburg Stadium, on June 26, but already, there is no space left for fans who might still be looking to get a ticket to the 67,000 capacity stadium.
Also, all the seats in the Eagles’ group match in Kaliningrad Stadium against Croatia – their first in next summer’s World Cup – on June 16 have been booked.
However, by press time on Tuesday, there were still tickets available for their second match. Nigeria will square up to Iceland at the Volgograd Arena on June 22, but reports indicated that there still spaces left in the 45,568 capacity stadium. FIFA described the seat availability for this match “low”.
Apart from the Nigeria-Iceland match, seats were said to be still available for five other group matches. These include the Tunisia-England match in Volgograd on June 18; Saudi Arabia-Egypt match in Volgograd on June 25 and the Iran-Portugal match in Saransk on June 25.
The two others are Panama versus Tunisia in Saransk on June 28 and Japan versus Poland match in Volgograd on June 28.
Only seven matches out of the total 64 that will be played in the Russia World Cup still have some tickets available for them and the seventh match is the quarter-final match to be played at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium on July 6.
The countries to be involved in this match will emerge from the Round of 16 pairings among winners and runners-up in groups A, B, C and D.
