Nottingham Forest have recognised Taiwo Awoniyi and Chris Wood after both players reached 100 appearances for the Premier League club.
Awoniyi received a commemorative shirt during Friday’s training session, where players and coaching staff gathered to mark the milestone for both forwards, who recently hit the century mark for the Tricky Trees.
The recognition comes at a key stage of the season as Forest continue their push to secure Premier League survival under manager Vítor Pereira.
Awoniyi reached the landmark during Forest’s 3-1 win over Chelsea, a match in which he scored twice, won a penalty and was named Man of the Match as his side boosted their survival hopes at the City Ground.

Chris Wood later reached his own 100-appearance milestone after coming off the bench in Forest’s 1-1 draw with Newcastle United, a game in which Elliot Anderson scored a late equaliser to secure a point.
Speaking after receiving his commemorative shirt, Awoniyi expressed gratitude to his teammates.
“Thank you, guys. This would not have been possible without you guys. For all you have done this season, for where we are, for keeping the team in the Premier League.”
Awoniyi’s recent form has come at an important point in the campaign.
After an injury-hit and inconsistent season, the Nigerian striker has regained sharpness in front of goal in the closing weeks.
He has contributed three goals and one assist in his last five matches, becoming a key attacking outlet as Forest’s relegation fight intensified.
Forest currently sit 16th in the Premier League with 43 points and still face fixtures against Manchester United and AFC Bournemouth as they look to secure survival before the season ends.
