3SC vs Enyimba: Olisema blames lack of concentration for defeat

Enyimba FC captain, Cyril Olisema blamed lack of concentration for his side’s defeat to Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan.

3SC beat the Peoples’ Elephant 2-0 on Monday at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan in a matchday 25 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) fixture.

The goals were scored by Omoduemuke Moses and Emmanuel Lucky in the 13th and 40th minute of the game.

Olisema, faulted his colleagues for their approach to the game in the first half which he said cost them a fair result.

Olisema said, “3SC were the better side in the first half, they played very good football, but we came out fully in the second half to prove our worth but it’s too late.

“I’m only disappointed in my colleagues, we started very poorly because losing here won’t help us at all in our dream to get a continental ticket. We are not consistent as we are winning one at home and losing the next game, but I believe the situation will soon change for the better.”
