Nwakali joins Polish club

The Polish second division club Raków Czestochowa have confirmed the signing of Super Eagles midfielder Chidiebere Nwakali from English Premier League Champions Manchester City on a permanent basis.

Nwakali, 21, had sought a opted for the move away from the Etihad Stadium after five loan spells in five countries at Atlético Malagueño, Girona FC, Start, Sogndal and Aberdeen.

The club announced his capture on deadline day of the transfer via club website.

He signed 2 years contract with an option of a year extension.

The player also appreciated Manchester City for the opportunity they offered him, while he announced his stay with the club.
