President of the Aquatic Federation of Nigeria, Mrs Chinoye Aliyu, has revealed that the best athletes at this year’s Youth Games in Asaba would represent the country at the Commonwealth Youth Games, in Trinidad and Tobago.
Aliyu, who is a member of the 7th NYG Main Organising Committee (MOC) disclosed that Delta is poised to host a hitch-free youth game with effective, efficient and adequate preparations.
“We are here,(Asaba) to get the best that would represent Nigeria in the Commonwealth Youth Games.
“For us in the swimming, we will ensure that we are in contact with the best swimmers, no matter which state they are from, and keep in touch with them to ensure a good outing in Trinidad and Tobago,” Aliyu said.
She urged all the participating Athletes to be good ambassadors of their states and eschew any act capable of Jeopardising their future.
