The Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Hon. Bukola Olopade, has praised Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, for her support for Nigerian sports.
The DG stated this as the First Lady received the Nigerian victorious women wrestling team, who triumphed at the just concluded Africa Wrestling Championship in Egypt.

The DG said the first lady has been one of the biggest supporters of Nigerian wrestling and, more especially, women’s involvement in sports.
“The first lady’s special commitment to Nigerian sports has played a big role in the continuous success of the Country’s women athletes at various continental and global competitions.
“She has been a mother to every one of us, sacrificing her time, her attention and finances to make sure every girl child doing sports truly lives their dreams to the fullest,” he said.
