Nigeria’s Paul Onuachu scored twice as Trabzonspor defeated Konyaspor 2-1 in the Turkish Cup final on Friday.

It was the 10th time Trabzonspor lifted the Turkish Cup.

Onuachu, who finished as joint top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig in the 2025/26 season, opened the scoring for the Black Sea Storm in the 18th minute, with right-back Wagne Pina providing the assist.

Onuachu netted the winning goal for Trabzonspor from the penalty spot 11 minutes from time.

His international teammate, Chibuike Nwaiwu, also featured for Trabzonspor in the game.
