Trabzonspor forward, Paul Onuachu and İstanbul Başakşehir’s Eldor Shomurodov have been crowned joint winners of the Turkish Süper Lig Golden Boot for the 2025/2026 season after finishing as the league’s top scorers, ahead of Victor Osimhen.

Nigeria’s Onuachu enjoyed a strong campaign, finishing with 22 league goals, a tally that ultimately secured him a share of the top scorer award.

Onuachu’s consistency and finishing in key matches helped him stay at the top of the scoring chart during the final stretch of the campaign.

Shomurodov also ended the season with around 22 goals, while Fenerbahçe’s Anderson Talisca followed with 19 goals.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen, one of the league’s most high-profile signings, finished with 15 league goals, placing him outside the top three scorers despite several key performances.

His teammate Mauro Icardi also featured among the league’s leading scorers with 14 goals, keeping Galatasaray represented in the upper part of the standings.

Although the Golden Boot race remained tight for much of the season, Onuachu and Shomurodov pulled clear late on to secure the award and finish as the league’s most prolific strikers.

Onuachu made history as the sixth Trabzonspor player to win the individual accolade.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) also congratulated the forward on X on Monday, praising his form throughout the season.

“Paul Onuachu was a force to reckon with, scoring 22 goals in the Süper Lig this season,” the NFF said.

Fenerbahçe’s Anderson Talisca finished third with 19 goals.

Osimhen won the award in the previous season, after scoring 26 goals in 30 league appearances for Galatasaray.
