Napoli’s young star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is making waves in Italy’s Serie A, and teammate Victor Osimhen believes he has what it takes to win the Ballon d’Or in the coming years.
The 22-year-old midfielder joined Napoli from Dinamo Batumi last July and has already made a significant impact. He has contributed nine assists and scored ten goals, making him a key player in Napoli’s push for the Scudetto title.
Napoli currently sits 15 points clear at the top of the Serie A table after 25 games, and Kvaratskhelia’s outstanding performances have attracted interest from some of Europe’s elite clubs.

Osimhen, who himself has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Chelsea, won Italy’s Foreign Press Association award for the best foreign player and spoke glowingly about his teammate.
“He’s a great guy,” Osimhen said. “Everyone loves him in the dressing room, not only for what he does on the pitch but also for what he does off the pitch.
“I believe he can win the Ballon d’Or in the next few years, I hope he also brings success to Napoli.”

Kvaratskhelia’s talents have not gone unnoticed, with clubs around the world expressing their interest.
However, Osimhen reiterated his commitment to Napoli, stating that he is happy to be playing in Serie A and is focused on helping Napoli achieve their first league championship since 1990.
“For me, Serie A remains a great challenge, with different characteristics from other leagues and with fans who always make you feel their support,” Osimhen said. “In this aspect, for me, it’s the best league.“
