We owe our fans an apology for three straight losses, says Wikki’s Muazum

Wikki Tourists returned to winning ways on Sunday after scoring an 80th minute goal to defeat Rivers United 1-0 in Bauchi to maintain their push for the title.

Ten minutes from time, Waziri Christopher produced the match-winner to help end the miserable run of three defeats for the Abdu Maikaba managed side.

“Its obvious that we’ve not lost our credibility and we didn’t trampled on the philosophy of our great team in encouraging the youths in playing good football,” Muazum told Goal.

“Our mission is to win the league title. We are hoping to be at the top when the season ends.

“I think we owe our fans some apologies for losing three matches in a row, we tried all we could but that’s how God wants it.

“We can’t wait for our remaining games and put smiles on the faces of all our loving fans.”
