I want to score in every game, says Brown Ideye

The forward scored the Legends winning goal on Sunday in the Greek topflight, and he hopes to continue his blistering form.

Nigerian international, Brown Ideye has revealed that his target this season is to score at least a goal per game for Olympiacos F.C.

The Super Eagles forward scored his side’s winning goal against Iraklis at the Kaftanzoglio Stadium on Sunday.

“I always want to see my name on the scores sheet because as a striker, that’s what every striker wants,” Ideye told Brila FM

“Scoring in every game or maybe after the game you lift your head up and see your name on the scoreboard, so you’ll put your head up and look forward to the next game so right now I’m looking forward to the next game.”

Ideye also said that the Legends came from one goal down to beat the Elder 2-1 following coach Paulo Bento’s pep talk in the dressing room at half time.

“We went to the dressing room and the gaffer said we just have to focus and calm down,” he continued.

“He said we should not try and force any pass and make sure we keep our calm before the 90 minutes will go out and that’s how we did it.

“We just have to keep on looking forward, keep on working hard and keep on winning games and getting points because that’s what our fans want to see.
