Premium Trust Bank announced as official banking partner of AFN

Nilayo Sports Management Limited, marketing consultants of Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has announced Premium Trust Bank as the official banking partner of the federation.

Mr. Ebidowei Oweifie, the Chief Operating Officer of Nilayo Sports Management Limited said “We are pleased to announce Premium Trust Bank as the official banking partner of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria”.

“Premium Trust Bank has demonstrated demonstrated dedication to the growth and development of Athletics in the country, as a forward thinking and fast growing brand, we are very confident that this is a collaboration that will transform athletics in Nigeria.”

President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria, Tonobok Okowa added that “Athletics in Nigeria is evolving, we are churning out world class athletes who are determined to push beyond the boundaries and set new standards, having a bank like Premium Trust on board as the banking partner of AFN displays the commitment of the bank to Nigerian athletes, this partnership will also be very beneficial to all athletes as it is a way of securing their financial future.”

While speaking with Sportingtribune at his Hawat Hotel,Birmingham, the CEO/Chairman Premium Bank Mr Emmanuel Emefiele having expressed happiness with the partnership disclosed that his bank went into the partnership with AFN in order to help in bringing out the best for the athletes and to ensure that Athletics 8n the country return to its rightful place.

“We are happy for the partnership and I can state it categorically that the relationship will bring out good results,” said.

Mr Oweifie added that the deal was concluded five weeks ago, however Nilayo hesitated to make the announcement to ensure that there is enough concentration on the Athletics events happening in Oregon, Birmingham and Cali as they are landmark events for Nigerian athletes.

Also speaking with Sportingtribune, the Chief Executive officer, Nilayo Sports Management who expressed happiness over the deal said his company will strive to do more so as to bring the best out of the athletes.
