PSG agree loan to buy Mbappe deal

‘L’Équipe’ has confirmed that the striker is set to join PSG on an initial loan deal, with the move becoming permanent next summer for a fee of €180m.

One of the transfer sagas of the summer is set to come to an end. French publication ‘LÉquipe’ reports that PSG and Monaco have come to an agreement that will see teen striking sensation Kylian Mbappe move to the French capital.

According to the newspaper, the French international will join the French giants on an initial loan deal that will turn into a permanent €180m move next summer after UEFA and in particular Financial Fair Play, put paid to any possibility of a permanent deal before Thursday’s transfer deadline.

The same source also claims that the permanent transfer will included various performance-related add-ons as has become the norm when talented young players such as Mbappe move clubs.

Mbappe set tongues wagging last season as he plundered 26 goals in 44 games for Monaco in all competitions as Leonardo Jardim’s side won the Ligue 1 title and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Although the move is yet to be confirmed by either club, several sources including ‘Cadena COPE’ have claimed that Monaco’s utility man Fabinho will also make the move to Paris alongside Mbappe, with Lucas Moura joining the Monegasque side.
