PSV Eindhoven has issued a 40-year stadium ban to the supporter who attacked Sevilla goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic during their Europa League match.
The Eredivisie team lost the knockout round play-off tie against Sevilla despite winning the second leg 2-0.
The attack occurred during the final moments of the match when a 20-year-old supporter entered the pitch and attacked Dmitrovic.

The goalkeeper subsequently pinned the man down, and security escorted him off the pitch. The man received a two-month prison sentence on March 8, and a one-month sentence would be added if he re-offended.

PSV confirmed that he is also serving a ban from the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) and barred from the stadium area for two years.
In its statement, the club said, “The 40-year-long ban comes on top of a possible fine imposed by UEFA.”
Sevilla advanced to the quarter-finals of the Europa League last week after a 2-1 aggregate victory over Fenerbahce.
They will face Manchester United in the quarter-finals in April after the international break.
