Former Chelsea star has been watched by a scout from Carlo Ancelotti’s side and has impressed
BAYERN MUNICH are planning a German record £65million bid for Romelu Lukaku.
The Bundesliga giants’ head of recruitment Michael Reschke was at the Etihad Stadium eight days ago to personally run a check on the Everton striker.
And Reschke was duly impressed, especially with Lukaku’s brilliant opener in the 1–1 draw at Manchester City.
Bayern, under former Chelsea chief Carlo Ancelotti will now spend all term watching the barnstorming Belgian striker, 23, who has nine goals already this season.
Lukaku is desperate to play in the Champions League — but Toffees boss Ronald Koeman convinced him to give Goodison Park one more year.
