Ronaldo, the highest-paid sportsperson in the world

‘Forbes’ magazine has updated its list of the best-paid sportspeople in the world and Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has come out on top once again.

The 32-year-old tops the list with an annual income of more than $93m per year, a figure that no other sportsperson can match.

Not even NBA star Lebron James can reath the same heights as Ronaldo, with the American’s yearly income of $86.2m putting him in second place.

Barcelona’s Lionel Messi has fallen to third place in the ranking this time around, making $80m per year.

Messi and Ronaldo are the only footballers to appear in the tanking, with Roger Federer, Kevin Durant, Andrew Luck, Rory Mcllroy, Stephen Curry, James Harden and Lewis Hamilton completing the list.
