AHMED MUSA
Despite his lack of playing time at Leicester City, coach Gernot Rohr has insisted on Ahmed Musa after he named a 23-man squad for next month’s World Cup qualifier against Zambia.
Rohr has insisted on current form and regular playing time for his call-ups, but it appears he has again made an exception for former Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa.
However, the Franco-German coach has dropped Portugal-based goalkeeper Dele Alampasu, who has yet to play an official game for his parent Portuguese club, to be part of the standby list that also has Tyronne Ebuehi, Aaron Samuel as well as WAFU Cup stars Afeez Aremu and Ifeanyi Ifeanyi.
