The Nigeria Football Federation have chosen Yessentuki for the Super Eagles, a camp where the team would operate from as they get set for the Russia 2018 World Cup.
The team will arrive in Russia on the 3 June and will camp in Yessentuki, Stavropol Territory of Russia for 10 days before moving to Kaliningrad for the first group game against Croatia.
According to a report quoted by Russian news agency, TASS the Governor of Stavropol, Vladimir Vladimirov has already confirmed Nigeria’s choice.
According to the Governor, the authorities of the region will treat with double attention each team that has chosen the bases for accommodation in the Caucasian Mineral Waters.
‘’I hope Yessentuki will allow the national team of Nigeria to rise high in the standings, but in any case not to beat our team,’’ he said.
