1994 Africa Cup of Nations-winning striker Efan Ekoku has predicted that Bukayo Saka will be left out of England’s squad for the upcoming 2020 European Championship.
The versatile Arsenal winger was heavily courted by Nigeria Football Federation and Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr before he became cap-tied to his country of birth last year.
Saka will be anxiously awaiting Gareth Southgate’s squad announcement for the 2020 European Championship.
Though Arsenal have struggled this season, the Hale End Academy graduate has had an excellent season, directly participating in 17 goals from 45 appearances in all competitions.

Ekoku was speaking during commentary on the Premier League world feed for the match between Crystal Palace and Arsenal when he made the bold prediction about Southgate not looking the way of Saka for the European Championship.
“Probably, I will suggest that it is a bit too early for Bukayo Saka to be in the full squad at present,” Ekoku said.
“I certainly expect him to get quite a number of caps in the future but now I think there are a couple of players ahead of him.
“I don’t see the England coach taking too many youngsters”.
Southgate will announce his Euro 2020 squad at 1300 hours on Tuesday May 25, two days after the conclusion of the Premier League season.
