Saraki hails Eagles as players tweet win

The Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki has hailed the Super Eagles over their 3-1 victory over the Fennecs of Algeria on Saturday in a World Cup qualifier.

Saraki, who watched the game at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, as special guest of honour, said through his twitter handle, Bukola Saraki ?@bukolasaraki that the Eagles made Nigerians proud in the encounter.

“Congratulations to our Super Eagles on the 3-1 victory over Algeria tonight. You have made us all proud. @thenff @NGSuperEagles,” he tweeted.

Nigeria defender, through his twitter handle Elderson Echiejile @EldersonEch savoured the fall of the Fennecs which he attributed to God.

“Great 3 point! Good team spirit and work! Thank God Almighty, Fans were amazing,” the left back tweeted.

Belgian club, Standard Liege also rejoiced with their player, Elderson Echiejile who starred against the Fennecs while the game lasted as they posted through their official twitter handle, Standard de Liège @Standard_RSCL “Congratulations to @EldersonEch who played the whole game. His country won 3-1 against Algeria. #NIGALG #WCQ”.

Meanwhile, Nigeria forward, Brown Ideye through his twitter handle Brown Ideye (MON) @OfficialIdeye tweets “Great Win, Wonderful performance  #GreatGod #believe.”
