Sarri: Azpilicueta’s new deal important for all

Maurizio Sarri says he is ‘very happy’ following the news Cesar Azpilicueta has signed a new four-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

The Spanish defender committed his long-term future to the club by putting pen to paper on a new deal and Sarri, speaking ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers, provided his reaction to the news.

“I think Azpilicueta is very important for the staff, the coach and his team mates,’ said the Blues boss.
