Luka Modric shared the Ballon d’Or with his Real Madrid team-mates as the squad posed for a picture ahead of training on Tuesday.
The Croatia international received the ultimate recognition and secured his place in history at the Grand Palais in Paris on Monday night.
Modric was in the centre of the photo alongside Sergio Ramos with the prize on the pitch.

The centre back uploaded a picture to his Instagram page on Tuesday of himself kissing Modric’s Ballon D’or trophy alongside the midfielder.
Ramos also posted a picture of himself holding the prize on to his Instagram story.
Ramos pretended to cry and used several crying face emojis as he asked when he’ll win the Ballon d’Or.
The prize has been the property of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for the past 10 years and Modric – the first ‘new’ winner since Brazil great Kaka in 2007 – has had an exceptional 12 months.
