See Premier League nominees for November/December manager of the month

The Premier League have named the four managers that will compete to be named the Manager of the Month (MoTM) for November and December.

The monthly prize has been combined for both November and December because of the World Cup break. Two rounds of fixtures were played before the pause, with a further two taking place upon the return of domestic action.

Making the cut for this award are four managers who boasted unbeaten records across the two months: Mikel Arteta, Thomas Frank, Eddie Howe, and Jurgen Klopp.

Arteta’s Arsenal went four wins from four across November and December. Victories and clean sheets over Chelsea and Wolves sent the Gunners into the World Cup break in high spirits, and they returned with victories over both West Ham and Brighton to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League.

Alongside Arteta, Klopp oversaw four straight victories at Liverpool for the first time this season as the Reds look to move on from their slow start to the season.

Brentford’s Thomas Frank

Victories over Tottenham and Southampton saw Liverpool climb up the table and they rounded out December by seeing off Aston Villa and Leicester.

Howe, October’s winner, has the chance to retain his crown as Newcastle’s push towards the top of the table continued with three wins and a draw. They conceded just once across the two months, with a goalless draw against Leeds on New Year’s Eve the only blemish on their record.

Finally, Brentford’s Frank makes the cut after a massive two months which saw the Bees knock off some high-profile opposition.

Brentford beat both Manchester City and West Ham, either side of a 2-2 draw with Tottenham, to come flying into the top half of the Premier League table.

Fans have the chance to vote for the winner on the EA Sports website, with those votes being put to a panel before an official decision is made.
