With the group stage over, we know which four teams will progress through to the next round of the Confederations Cup that is taking place in Russia.
Germany and Portugal qualified as top of their group, avoiding each other until a hypothetical final. Portugal’s rout over New Zealand meant Mexico will go through as second due to goal difference.
Germany came out on top in Group B, while Chile qualified after playing with fire against Australia. The South Americans were one goal away from elimination.
The first semi-final will see Portugal take on Chile. It will take place on the 28th of June in the Kazan Arena, in Kazan.
The other semi-final will be between Germany and Mexico, one day later. It will be in Sochi, where the Germans have beaten Cameroon, at the Fischt Stadium.
The match that will decide the third and fourth places is scheduled to take place on the 2nd of June at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow.
The final will be held on the same day, but at night and at a different stage. Zenit’s Saint Petersburg Stadium will play host.
