Sergio Busquets
Sergio Busquets has signed a new five-year deal at Barcelona.
The midfielder has put pen to paper on fresh terms which will see him stay at the Nou Camp until the summer of 2023.
Busquets’ release clause has been raised from £178million to £445million as the Catalan giants bid to stave off any interest from elsewhere.
The Spanaird has established himself as a key figure in Barca’s side since his first-team debut in 2008.
Busquets, 30, has gone on to make 490 appearances in all competitions, scoring just 11 games from the base of midfield.

In total, he has landed 28 trophies with Barca, including seven league titles, six Copa del Rey crowns, and three Champions Leagues.
As well as his success domestically, Busquets has made 109 appearances for Spain, helping them to glory at the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012.
