The captain of Zinedine Zidane’s side has missed the last month with an injury, but is in line to start this weekend
REAL MADRID star Sergio Ramos is in London, and no he isn’t in the capital over a potential move to the Premier League.
The captain of Los Blancos is visiting England with his girlfriend Pilar Rubio as he makes the most of not making the Spanish squad through injury.
Ramos has missed the last month after picking up a knee sprain in Spain’s World Cup qualifier against Albania.
However he is in line to start this weekend’s huge clash against Diego Simeone‘s city rivals Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon.
Zinedine Zidane‘s men sit top of La Liga, two points above Barcelona, and the return of the 30-year-old will be a welcomed boost as Real Madrid look to carry on their unbeaten run.
While Real are in sensational form, Atletico have faltered in recent weeks, losing two of their last three games in the league against Sevilla and Real Sociedad.
And the return of Ramos will be a sore sight for Los Rojiblancos fans, as Madrid’s skipper is unbeaten in eight La Liga visits at the Calderon, winning six and drawing two.
Ramos also has proved to be a thorn in the side of Atletico, scoring in added time to equalise in the 2014 Champions League final, and then two years later netting the opener against them leaving Simeone with two runners-up medals to his name.
