Simi Adeagbo sets African history at Winter Olympics

Nigeria’s Simidele Adeagbo on Friday successfully finished Run 1 of the skeleton in the ongoing Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, to become the first athlete from Africa to compete in the skeleton.

She ended up in number 20 after posting 54.19 in Run 1, 54.58 in Run 2 to end on 1:48.77 in overall

Germany’s Jacqueline Lolling led the race on 1:43.86 overall, with 51.74 and 52.12 in Run 1 and Run 2 respectively while home girl, Sophia Jeong ended up in 15th scoring 1:45.14 overall.
