Sone Aluko grabs brace of assists in Fulham’s 5-0 win

The 28-year old forward helped the Cottagers end their English Championship winless run at home

Sone Aluko grabbed two assists to inspire Fulham to a 5-0 victory over Huddersfield in their Championship fixture at the Craven Cottage.

Aluko’s assist for Lucas Piazon’s second goal in the 42nd minute and Kevin McDonald’s third goal in 66th minute provided an improved team performance for Slaviša Jokanović’s side given some recent poor showings.

The Nigerian who created a brace of assists in Fulham’s 2-2 draw with Cardiff City at home in August  couldn’t increase his goal tally from two goals as he was replaced in the 75th minute by Floyd Ayite.

Fulham who have only managed two wins from eleven games are placed 11th on the Championship standings with 21 points from 15 games.
