Super Falcons of Nigeria on Thursday advanced to the semi-finals stage of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) after beating the Indomitable Lionesses.
Falcons defeated Cameroon to make the final four of the competition and also secure automatic qualification for next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Defending champion Nigeria beat Cameroon 1-0 to book a date with the Zambia in the semi final.
Rasheedat Ajibade scored the only goal of the match in the 57th minute of the game.
