National President of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Isaiah Kemje Benjamin has lost his father, late Pa Israel Boyi Isaiah.

Pa Israel Boyi was said to have died in the early hours of Monday, 25th September 2023 in Kaduna.

Meanwhile, Bauchi State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has condoled the National President of the Association over the death of his father.

According to a condolence message by Bauchi SWAN Secretary, Bala Bawaji, members of SWAN in Bauchi state, received the news of Pa Israel Boyi’s death with shock.

The statement contained that, the death came at a time that his fatherly guidance and advice were most needed by the National President of SWAN who was recently elected.

“Therefore, we in Bauchi state SWAN, extend our heartfelt condolences to our Dear President, Mr Isaiah Kemje Benjamin and the entire Isreal Boyi’s family over the demise of their Patriarch,” The statement further contained.

The SWAN members then prayed to God to grant the deceased eternal rest and, the entire family, the fortitude to bear the huge loss.
