Tottenham manager, Mauricio Pochettino has been charged with improper conduct following his post-match row with referee Mike Dean in the wake of his side’s defeat to Burnley.
Pochettino confronted Dean at the full-time whistle to question his decision to award a corner to Burnley, which resulted in Chris Wood scoring, as well as his refusal to show Phil Bardsley a red card for a challenge on Danny Rose.

Although the confrontation initially appeared amicable, Pochettino and his assistant Jesus Perez were incensed at something the official said.
After reviewing the incident the Football Association has charged the Argentine with two breaches of Rule E3.
“Mauricio Pochettino has been charged with two breaches of FA Rule E3 following the game against Burnley on Saturday [23 February 2019],” a statement read.
“It is alleged the Tottenham Hotspur manager’s language and/or behaviour at the end of the fixture – both on the pitch and in or around the tunnel area – amounted to improper conduct.
“He has until 18:00, February 28, 2019 to respond to the charge.”

In his post-match interview the 46-year-old apologised for his behaviour and indicated that he would not appeal against any disciplinary action.
